      Additional Information

Mental Health Treatment Plans & Medicare Guidelines

While Emma welcomes clients who are accessing her services under a Mental Health Treatment Plan, clients are asked to please note that Medicare have strict rules for claiming rebates.

It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that they have an eligible plan in order to claim a rebate. If you have already used some of your sessions on your Mental Health Treatment Plan with another psychologist prior to attending our clinic, please advise our team upon booking.

After using the 10 eligible Medicare-rebated sessions in a calendar year, any further sessions will be charged at the Standard rate.

      Medicare Rebates

Emma sets her fees as low as possible for all clients, however some of her services do not meet the criteria for eligibility with regard to Medicare rebates. Please note:
      • Medicare rebates are not available for ADHD or learning assessments.
      • Medicare rebates are available for Autism assessments if a referral is gained from a paediatrician or psychiatrist (not from a GP).
      • Private health rebates may apply depending on your health fund. Quote item number ‘200’ when enquiring with them directly.

For reduced-fee assessment options, public services are available for children in South Australia through the Child Development Unit, and Autism SA. Waitlists typically apply.

      NDIS

Emma is able to accept funding through self-managed NDIS clients for assessments.

Self-managed NDIS funding for therapy will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
